Vaughan's in the Parish of Llandybie census lookup.

Can anyone lookup this Vaughan family in 1851 and 1841 census returns.

Daniel Vaughan c 1789 born Llanedi, Carms - can't find him in 1861 either but living in Cae Ifan Prys, Saron, Ammanford, Carms in 1871.

Also his son and family.

John Vaughan c 1808 born Llanon, Carms (head)
Charlotte Vaughan c 1812, Llandebie, Carms (wife)
David Vaughan c 1841, Llandebie, Carms (son)
William Vaughan c 1844, Llandebie, Carms (son)
Isaac Vaughan c 1848, Llandebie, Carms (son)

They were living in Cae Ifan Prys in 1861 and 1871. (this seems to be the family home)

Since we are talking about one of the best documented families in Wales, have you tried sources such as the author of 'The Vaughans of Golden Grove'?

Alun Williams gathered a wealth of information on the contempory descendants of the Vaughans, and not all of it was published.
