Thank you - that all seems about right. I was convinced it was in Buxton, somewhere! My grandmother's mother, Sister Mary Till, worked at the Devonshire Royal, and was St. John's trained, as well as being a midwife. I have her calling card and badge, and numerous photos!

I can definitely see what looks like those 4 shields above the porch door, on the 'Picture the Past' photo.
