Arthur pegg 1872-1957

Hello,I hope someone can help me,I am looking for information on my ancestor Arthur pegg,who was born in Leicester in 1872,he married frances wells 1878-1953,Arthur died in los Angeles in 1957,could anyone please tell me if Arthur went onto get married and have a family in los Angeles,thank you for any help anyone can give me,kind regards Dean

Frances died in Leicester.  If Arthur was born 1872 - by 1953 he was 82.  That gives him 4yrs to get to LA - remarry etc etc??

Where did you get the info from re death in LA?

Do you have him on a passenger list going to America?  Did he have family out there do you know?

I suggest you look at the 1939 register entry for Frances Pegg.  2 sons living with her - their birth reg shows mmn Wells

There is this death in Leicester of an Arthur Pegg as an alternative suggestion

born c1873 - died 1937

are you positive his wife was still married (and not a widow) in 1953 when she died?
