Looking for the birth certificate of my 2nd Great Grandad who was born in 1838 in Humme Prussia,
if anyone can point me in the right direction to look, that would be a great help.

Log into the this site
https://www.archion.de/en/help/

It costs 19 Euros for a month with 50 downloads.

You can´t search the records you have to go through the books page by page
you also need an understanding of old German.

Here´s a screen shot showing you Hümme
If you need any help , let me know

Hi thankyou so much for finding/ sending across this information, I found his death certificate, marriage certificate, and all his neutralisation papers from UK home office and addresses where he lived and any children he had.
I think its worth me paying a subscription to find out more about my German ancestors, especially as this also confirms his parents names.

Thanks again, Eamonn Wiegand

Hi Dave
Thanks very much, that is very kind of you,
I must admit, I was struggling to work out what some of the letters are in old German.
Regards Eamonn
