The marriage to Elizabeth Draper shows William Cox (father Thomas Cox) - not Frederick William Cox.

Date of that marriage is 1878 and shows Williams age as 20 - which would mean he was born circa 1858.

There is a birth 1861 for Frederick William Cox but then a death 1872.

On Ancestry there is a birth registration - Frederick William Cox 1860 - Aston (3rd Q 6d 225).

On the GRO the birth registration is ALSTON - not Aston (so probably an error by GRO - but same      Q and ref. no. - mothers maiden name is Jones.
