Looking for marriage of John Hanlon and Ann Keegan

Hi

I am stumped on the marriage date for John Hanlon and Ann Keegan, presumably in Durham, about 1877 according to the 1911 census. I have tried GRO, FreeBMD, Ancestry and Findmypast.

Ann could go by the name of Ann Nora (according to 1921 census, although her entry is then crossed out as she had already died). I have also seen her as Mary Ann in some trees, but I can’t find any proof of that.

I have a DNA match with a Hanlon descendant and I am certain it is through John. He was born in Armagh, Ireland and it would be great if I could find his parents, or at least his father. He was born anywhere between 1846 to 1857 according to census data.

John and Ann lived in Horden, Durham.

I just realised that their first known child, Julia, was born in Middlesbrough. So they may have married in Yorkshire.

I can't see a marriage and I can't see a birth registration for Julia either under Hanlon or Keegan?

Thanks Kay. No, I couldn’t find her birth either. In 1911, they said they had 12 children, 6 still alive. I think I’ve only found registrations for about 4 or 5 children.

Children with them in 1881 Gateshead are Julia age 5 and Edward 3 months. Ann's mother Kate Keagan is also with them
