Yes, Rosie. I think it could well be. She was born in Middlesbrough according to census data, and the 1939 register has her birthday as January.

Hi Spelk. Sorry, I missed this comment previously. Ah yes, I see that. Every other census has Middlesbrough though, even 1921. So I’m not sure where the Elswick came from.
