If anybody is going to look at parish records, could they please check on baptism for Abraham Spring born 1816 Ridgmont.  Would be great to find out who his parents were.
Many thanks
Steph

Hi
He married Avice Chance 1836 Eversholt and they had the following children -
Louisa b 1837 Eversholt
Jane b 1839 Eversholt
George b 1841 Eversholt
Ruth b 1845 Eversholt
He died in 1891
That's it I'm afraid.

Well Abraham Spring is my relation as he is my Gt Gt Grandfather so if anyone else has him in their lineage maybe they would like to get back to me.

In answer to the 1st question Abraham does not have a baptism noted at Ridgmont at the right period. I have been searching for it for years.  ;D ;D ;D

My ggg grandmother was Elizabeth Spring b 1782 Millbrook.  I am convinced that Abraham is the son of her brother John and his wife Mary Cox.  I have six of their children, all born Ridgmont, the last, Mary Ann, recorded 1812 when the parish records I have ended.

Hi Steph49

I and the one of the archivists at Bedford tried to link Abraham to the Ridgmont (I have the book up to 1812 also) Spring's to no avail.

I have tried to find information about him for years but I think that this lineage will have to remain open as lineage unlinked.

Shame though. :(

Cheers Sandy

P.S. Just had another line contact me re: George Willis who married Abraham's daughter Jane. At the moment  I think I know more than them.  :)

Just had a thought I will see who the witnesses are on the marriage (if I can find it).
