Florry smith

Florry was my great aunt she was born in 1889 at Keighley. Her father was Arthur Smith and her mother was Sarah Ann Bland ,she was living with her parents in 1911 it does appear that she had been married and divorced by then . I cannot find any trace of her marriage or divorce so I am left scratching my head can anyone help. Thanks stoop

If she was born in 1889 it's highly unlikely she was married & divorced by the age of 22.

What surname is she shown under in 1911 & what is her marital status?

I can't find the 1911 entry you are referring to - can you please post full details?

Smith/Bland Marriage was 1888.  Florie Smith birth with mmn Bland 1888

There is a 1911 entry for a Florry Smith born 1887 Keighley but she's not with parents & is clearly shown as single. 

As the marriage of the parents you have named wasn't until 1888 you need to clarify what you have written in your opening post?

Parents Arthin + Sarah Ann

Transcript says "Divorced"
Image says "Single"

As Jon mentions in reply #5 in 1911 she is single on image, named Smith, but transcribed as divorced which is obviously an error.

Does not seem to be any children to couple. Couple on electrol at 115 Grafton Road Keighley (only checked a few, there are many)

1939 register gives Florrie DOB as 25 Sept 1889 which would fit with a Dec Qtr birth registration but a year out - YOB can differ on 1939 register for whatever reason.

There is another Florrie Smith born Keighley Dec Qtr 1888 mmn Broughton.  Family tree has her birthdate as 14 Oct 1888.  She is unmarried in 1939 register with the above birthdate still in Keighley.  Dies as Florrie Smith in 1949 age 60 Worth Valley.

Another Florrie Smith b 1887 Keighley father William married 1907 to Harry Brooksbank

Only 3 Florrie/Florie Smith born Keighley 1888 +/- 1 the above 2 can be ruled out. Looks possible that your Florrie likely married Harold N Pighills.
