Death certificate

Hi all trying to decipher cause of death. I have
Fell down dead on her husbands house floor. Congestive apoplexy brought on by severe ..........

Any help appreciated

I originally read 'severe mental excitement' as 'severe marital excitement'. The imagination went into overdrive!

I originally read 'severe mental excitement' as 'severe marital excitement'. The imagination went into overdrive!

That was indeed my first thought. I’m no wiser what exactly mental excitement is.

You need to search for Harriet Richmond (Harriet with one T)

Could also be a fit of temper or agitation.
