Hello, and thank you all so much for your help. I am trying to decipher my GGGF's death certificate (from 1898) and can't make out the handwriting. I would be so grateful if you could help me with this! Kind regards, Craig McGregor.

Sxxscope caused by passage of xxx through bile duct. Result of post mortem examination made by xxx Fishbourne. Coroner Ordered burial.

Syncope equals fainting.
Billary Concretions equals gall stones
So possibly fell badly through fainting, with the pain of passing gall stones through his bile duct.
