Some one had to request the military headstone, they are not automatic, information must be verified that the person is eligible.

Perhaps someone in Canada can tell you who to write to and get the information.

ADDED
The notice in the paper is the standard Mortuary notice, not a family notice.

Thanks, I suppose he could have left instructions as to his own burial , given that he was military or maybe he belongmto a servicemen's association who handled it all.
Still can't find his brother Harold or the death of his father.
