He seemed to have been buried very quickly! I wonder if it was the "wife", as she had a nice pay out from his insurance  :-\

According to the item about the insurance payout, he died from inflammation of the bowels.

I had a look for a death certificate (and a marriage certificate) but couldn't find one. Others may have more knowledge of where to find them.

The probate record, as Erato found, may have more information.

Could very well be. The money she got was equivalent to around $64,000 so there's definitely motive!
