At the time of the 1911 census there is a small school in Trewartha Park Weston-super-Mare.  Does anyone know its name?

There is a street called Trewartha Park? Search for BS23 2RT; in Ashcombe.

Try Milton Park Primary or Christ Church Primary.

eg:

Thank you both.  It's a boys school - I'm researching a soldier who died in WW1 and he's listed there on the 1911 census.

Oh, ok. What is the name of the soldier? Looking at the 1911 census, can you tell by the houses around it where it is on the street? This may help identify the school.  :)

The man is question is: Lieut. Roland Milton Harris, 60 Sqdn., Royal Flying Corps and 2nd Bn., Yorkshire Regiment - he was KIA on 7 June 1917 aged 19.  He was born in Oxfordshire in 1898 to a farming family.  After attending what I think was a prep school in Weston Supermare he went to Dover College in Kent.

The Schedule page says Trewartha Park but the transcribed page looks like Brynmelyn, Coombe Road.  Does that help?

The 1911 enumerator's list places "Belvedere, Combe Road, Boys' School" between "1 Trewartha Park" and "18 Coombe Road"

Bristol and North Somerset has an excellent mapping tool - Know Your Place.
https://maps.bristol.gov.uk/kyp/?edition=nsom
For the North Somerset version.

Click on the magnifying glass, top left, and enter Coombe Road in the search box.
The left hand map defaults to 1844; the right hand map is current.
Best fit I can see is 1894-1903 map?

Navigate north up Coombe Road.
On a right-hand curve is 18 Coombe Road.
There is a lane leading to Coombe Cottage and Hewish Court.
Maybe the school was there?
