Why that is very nice of you Uhnnohn. A number of others are also using online sites. I was not familiar with this one. I just tried playing with it. It seems to do a better job that the latest Photoshop Neural Filter "Colorize".

I do most of my work as traditional "repair" work in Photoshop 2024. I am reluctant to say "restoration" as that sort of implies that the uploaded image can be restored to its original vibrancy and detail. Most of our heirlooms have seem better days, and are rarely capable of being restored to their original glory.

I am also a reluctant user of AI... as I may have mentioned in previous posts. I am not always sure that the detail and distinct qualities produced are actually a spot-on resemblance to a since passed relative. But it "IS" a fan favorite, so I will incorporate some.

I use TOPAZ AI (a purchased and resident software app) and I also use a site called VANCE AI.

Again... nice of you to share. I am always looking for ways to add to my arsenal of tools.
