PayPal payments not showing on email account

On my email account I have various folders one of which is for PayPal.  Whenever I make a payment via PayPal I receive a message to the PayPal folder.

The last two payments I made, one yesterday and one today, have not shown up in that folder.

I can't work out why that is so.  The payments appear on the PayPal website.

Any suggestions on how to solve this please?  Thank you.

I have a similar system (not for Paypal) but I always get the emails in the normal way and then move them to the appropriate folder.

Do you use Thunderbird for your emails, as it was updated this week (not for the better in my mind) and it could be that your system no longer works.

I use Outlook for my emails.  All the other folders that I have are receiving messages.  I'm not really tech minded so this sort of thing leaves me struggling to sort it out.

Basic stuff is fine but anything more tends to throw me a bit.

Have you checked that the emails haven’t somehow gone into another folder?

As the payments are showing on your account is the email really vital anyway?

I did check my other folders but they were not in there.  I appreciate that the payments will appear on the PayPal website but by having them in a folder in my email account, I don't need to keep checking the website.

For me it is easier to have everything all in one place, i.e. my email account.  I then don't need to check individual websites.  It's just the way I like to do things.

Have you checked in your Spam and Deleted folders?
Or the general In Box.

Yes Spelk, I did check those but no joy.  Son-in-law is pretty good with computers so I shall probably ask him if he can help me.

I'm okay with computers up to a point, but after that it just gets confusing for me.

Could be your email provider is I having a blitz on spam emails and your PayPal emails are being blocked. I don’t use outlook but instructions on how to add PayPal as a trusted sender.

How to quickly add someone to Safe Senders List

If you know an email is incorrectly marked as spam, then you can add it instantly to the safe list.

Open the Email, and click on the three horizontal dots next to forward, replay action.
In the menu, look for the option which says—Add to Safe Senders
Click on it, and it will be included in the list.

Do this on a previously received email from PayPal. You may not get the ones that have already gone astray though.
Please acknowledge when a restorer works on your photos, it can take hours for them to work their magic

Please scan at 300dpi minimum to help save the restorers eyesight.
