Susanna Whittingham never married she was buried 24 August 1842 at Bexley.

William Watkins left her £5, did she leave a will?

Probate was established nationally 1838, before then wills were handled by the church courts.

Try the local records office for wills of lesser value. You will need to find out which jurisdiction Bexley Kent fell under. You may find wills of others in the Watkins, Whittingham, Pearman families.

Susanna Whittingham died 1823 so if she left a will it would be handled by the regional church courts.

William Watkins had property quite a bit of it so it was handled by the PCC Court.

Oh thank you, no wonder I wasn't getting too many results regarding probates.
I do have quite a bit on the later generations, just trying to piece together these earlier ones.
They were farmers and owned quite a bit of land.  Tanyard Farm.
Thanks for the help
