Padley Chipping Norton
« on: Friday 06 October 23 12:44 BST (UK) »
Hi All
Im wondering if any kind rootschatters would be good enough to do a couple of look ups for me please?
Im researching My Granddad Anthony John Padleys line from Chipping Norton
He was born in Chippy Dec 26th 1918 to Parents
Percival Padley and Elsie Rosina Clarke
Percy was born chippy 1893 and died 1971
On a tree ive found it has Percys parents as
John James Padley and Annie Padley
Im hoping to find out the parents of John James and Annie Padley if possible?
There is a note on the tree saying James family so im wondering if they used that as Johns middle name? It also has Webb and Fletcher families written on it but not sure who they are or even if theyre linked to them?
Any help with parents of John and Annie would be really appreciated
Many Thanks
Kind Regards
Duncan

According to the GRO website, Percival Joseph Padley, registered 1893 in Chipping Norton, has mother's maiden name as Webb.

There is a marriage in Chipping Norton RD, March q 1886  where John James Padley and Annie Webb appear on the same page - page 896.
