Bertha Knigge, born Köpcke, evangelical religion, living in Wiesbaden, Goethestraße 11, died at her home on 15 March 1940 at 6.30 pm.
She was born on 6 June 1855 in Schwerin. Her father was Johann Köpcke, her mother Albertine, born Mörer. Both have passed away.
Bertha was the widow of Karl Knigge, privatier.

Declaration made by Horst Schroers, residing at the same address, and present at the time of death.

Privatier usually means living on one's own means with no need to work.
