1.Dr. Archibald Dunlop , the son of the Rev. Samuel Dunlop, m. 1861 to Elizabeth Jane Stanton, nee Henry, dau of Rev. Dr. Pooley Shuldham Henry, 1801-1881, President of Queen's College, Belfast;
Elizabeth had been previously married to  Capt. William Barron Stanton, son of Thomas Stanton, gent.

2.Archibald Samuel Dunlop, b. 1864

2.John Robinson McClean Dunlop, b. 1866

2.Violet, b. 1872


*The Rev. Dr. Pooley Shuldham Henry, father of Elizabeth Jane,  was married twice.  He m. 1.to Eliza Jane McClean, d. 1861; he m. 2. in 1865 to Jessie, dau of William Patton, JP of Co. Armagh.

In Holywood there is also another Dr. Archibald Dunlop mentioned;  is he the same or different?

1.Dr. Archibald Dunlop m. Bessie Moore

2.Lt. John Gunning Moore Dunlop, b. 1885; d. 1914.

2.Capt. George Malcolm Dunlop, b. 1889; died 1915.

Marriage June 22nd St James Piccadilly, London
Archibald Dunlop MD to Bessie, second daughter of James Moore, of Dalchcolin, County Down.

This was published in 1884 but the parish marriage was 1881
Archibald was a widower, father Samuel and full name for Bessie - Elizabeth

Violet Hill and family in 1911 census.
House 34 in Ballyrobert (Holywood Urban, Down).
Note that Elizabeth Hill and Archibald Hill were born in Burmah [sic].
