searching Twin Burial
« on: Wednesday 11 October 23 09:56 BST (UK) »
I am researching my twin sisters born Bendigo Base Hospital Dec  1939.
They lived 15 mins, therefore had  a burial at Bendigo Cemetary on 24th Dec 1939.
unnamed twins, funeral director William Farmer. DI section, no grave found
Would there be a birth or death certificate?  or hospital records.
Mother Dorothy Burton nee Priest   Father Clifford Harry Studley Burton.

Thanking you for any help Regards Beverly

Victoria birth, marriage and death indexes are free to search online.

https://my.rio.bdm.vic.gov.au/

Births less than 100 years ago are closed records but you will find the deaths indexed there.

There are 2 death certificates listed Ref 18302/18303 (Ancestry.com.au) father Clifford Burton.
You should be able to purchase them from bdm.vic.gov.au but am not sure how much extra info you will get. Entry says ages 1 day.
