**COMPLETED** Help with Latin Probate please
« on: Wednesday 11 October 23 17:19 BST (UK) »
I would be grateful if someone is able to translate this Latin Admon from 1579.  I know the name is Hugh Addshed (or a variation)  from Fittleworth in Sussex.  Many thanks

On the same day Master Leame(?) granted administration of the goods of Hugh Addshed formerly of Fyttleworth deceased to Elizabeth his relict...

The exact translation of the last bit defeats me, but I think it's a standard legal phrase, partly abbreviated. Something like "she having been sworn to well and truly administer...."

Then on the right there's a statement of the value - I'm not totally sure of the amount, but it looks to me like:

Inventory exhibited to the value of £5 10s 5d
Researching among others:
Bartle, Bilton, Bingley, Campbell, Craven, Emmott, Harcourt, Hirst, Kellet(t), Kennedy,
Meaburn, Mennile/Meynell, Metcalf(e), Palliser, Robinson, Rutter, Shipley, Stow, Wilkinson
