Hello, I'm not sure if I'm in the right place but I am trying to find some information on the lady above.  Slade is her married name and was my step grandfather's first wife.  I really don't know where to find information about her, I only have her married name, details of where she lived in the UK.  I can't find any marriage record and believe she was born in Europe and possibly married in Europe. 
Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction for information, I would be very grateful.  I know she was born in 1921 but not where.

An M Slade arrived in New York on a flight from London 23 Sep 1951

Mrs M E Slade age 30 arrived 9 Jun 1951 from Singapore aboard the Benvenue.  Wife of Dr N Slade of Bristol?

What was his name?

Do you have a copy of the marriage cert?

She died in Kent in 1954 aged 33

Did they have any children - do not name any who may be alive.  If the children were born in England - use freebmd to find their births which will give her maiden name

thank you to all who have been looking through records, I really appreciate your help.  Her husbands name was George William Slade, born Portsmouth on 8th May 1921 died 2010 in orpington kent.  Was in the Royal artillery enlisted 1942.  Melitta is recorded living in Orpington Kent in 1950 under her married name but not with George until 1953.  She unfortunatly committed suicide at the age of 33.  I am trying to trace her place of birth and history before she came to the UK

I see on your tree that you missing the following siblings for your grandfather:
•   Lilian Rose Slade born 1907 Portsmouth; died 1907 Portsmouth
•   Pansy Lavinia Slade born 1908 Portsmouth

Also note the correct birth information for their mother Christine Mabel Slade (nee Sherwood) is 1879 Brixton (not 1899) – daughter of Richard William Slade and Mary (nee Langford) married 19 Aug 1871 Pimlico, Middlesex.
Christine Mabel Sherwood married Frederick Slade in 1904
