Can this photo be sharpened or restored please?
« on: Thursday 12 October 23 14:00 BST (UK) »
Hi

Can someone please assist me to sharpen or restore the photo below?

The photo is of my great grandmother, Catherine McLoughlin (1903 - 1975) from Scotland and her mother, my great-great grandmother, Bridget McLoughlin (nee Brogan) (1869 - 1938) from Ireland.  The other lady (right) was a friend of Catherine name unknown.

Thank you

Thanks, good effort! The contrast is definitely better. Quite a difficult one as the original is very faded.

That is actually pretty good japeflakes. I have made a few technique stabs at it without much luck. It is a tough nut to crack.
