Death announcement - Sybil S
Findagrave - Sybil S
1950 census Sybil S born 1908 which is more like her age on the outgoing 1949 passenger record (43)

Sybil Sophia perhaps??  Her middle name should be on the actual death cert

The “daughter” in the newspaper announcement is shown as b Ohio approx 1931

Sybil Audley aged 43 left England for New York on 18.7.1949 accompanied by a male Audley aged 13 & a female aged 18.  Both born before the 1942 marriage & the female is mentioned in the news article.  The son appears to be from the first Audley marriage to Phyllis Smith but the female does not show in freebmd

The daughter was Shirley Phyllis Audley and was born in Ohio US 1930, will not appear on gro index, died 2020 as Shirley Defries

I think the only certain way forward here is as previously mentioned.  The marriage cert.  If her father is Solomon then she changed or added Sybil to her name.  There is no birth reg under either christian name with the same mmn as Kate

There is

And I have just realised that by mistake I PMed someone who is not the OP with some further information, for which many apologies.
