The Evening Express Newspaper 25 August 1888 printed an Obituary of the Death of a John Campbell

Hi ShaunJ,
Thanks for your reply.  I tried UK Newspapers as you suggested  on Ancestry --- they had no listings of the "Liverpool Express" on their site.
Any other thoughts?

I don't have a subscription, but looking at the OCR (optical character recognition) on the page Shaun linked, it looks to me like a  John CAMPBELL's wife gave birth to a daughter, whilst a someone HENDERSON died aged 61 on 22 August.

So I suspect the entry on Ancestry is incorrect. Someone who can read the actual article may be able to confirm.

The link I provided is the source quoted by Ancestry for the information that you posted.  I didn't suggest that you look for it on Ancestry. They purport to have found it on their sister service newspapers.com.
