Can’t remember the title but I feel there are such books, try The Royal College Of Surgeons ,they would probably have a list of fully qualified people
Maybe even on line..
Best of luck.
Viktoria.
P.S. Doctors lose the title Doctor when they become Surgeons, they are then Mr. V.

If you already have a name for someone you think was a surgeon, you may find some biographical details about them here: https://livesonline.rcseng.ac.uk/client/en_GB/lives

If you're interested in a particular person or area, local directories usually follow medics' names with "physician [& surgeon]" and/or postnominals like M.R.C.P./M.R.C.S.
Researching Penge, Anerley, (incuding the Crystal Palace) and neighbouring parts of Beckenham, currently in London (Bromley), formerly Surrey and/or Kent.
