Commonwealth War Graves Commission are appealing for blood relatives of Rifleman George Thomas Dowding - died 21/2/1919 - buried St Annes Cemetery Reading. London Regiment - Post Office Rifles.

Rifleman, London Regiment (Post Office Rifles). 2nd/8th Bn. Service No: 370879. Age 30. Husband of Elizabeth Nellie Dowding, of 54, Katesgrove Lane, Reading.

Currently commemorated on a special memorial  Research has show the casualty is buried here. The Commission are in the process of producing a headstone to mark his grave.
