Business rates 1920s
« on: Monday 16 October 23 19:53 BST (UK) »
Hi everyone,

I was just wondering what sort of rates small businesses would have paid (if any) in the 1920s in the City of London? I'm just writing about very small family run endeavours such as glove makers and jewellers and wondering if there are likely to be any records lurking at LMA which might list rates paid etc.

Many thanks

Have you contacted LMA to ask them?

No, not yet.

I was just hoping to see what sort of records other people might have found in the same context.

I didn't want to be missing something obvious, besides trade directories!
