BURIAL INFORMATION
« on: Tuesday 17 October 23 09:22 BST (UK) »
I have a child in my Tree, his name was Thomas Gleave b.1895 died 1905 in Manchester.  His parents were Ellis and Ellen Gleave.  I have a clipping from the Manchester Evening News 12th May 1905 Page 3 telling of how Thomas had an accident and died from his injuries. Would anyone be able to tell me where he is buried?

Hi

His burial appears to be at Philips Park Cemetery Sec L Consecrated (Position 5) burial 13/5/1905
(Found on Manchester Burials Online website) This seems to dovetail with the newspaper article you found.

FYI ... there was a Thomas Gleave born in the 1920s who was resident in Sidney Street, Saltcoats, Ayrshire in the 1950s before de-camping to Edinburgh.  I believe he was in the motor trade, perhaps a garage?
cheers, Ian
