Looking for some Swartz Family Members in Virginia Newspapers
« on: Tuesday 17 October 23 16:25 BST (UK) »
Hello,
I am looking for any newspaper ads, wedding announcements, obits, etc. for my Swartz Family ancestors from Virginia. They include Phineas Swartz (abt 1773-after 1823), a bit of a mystery, who lived in Rockingham County, and married in Frederic County, VA. They also include John Swartz (abt 1792-abt 1845) who settled in Rockingham County about 1812-1823. Phineas was there at that time as well. They both lived in Pleasant Valley. And finally, Eli Swartz (1823-1874), who was born in Rockingham County and moved later to Rockbridge County, VA.
    Thanks in advance!
