Sweet Stall pontypridd Market

There was a small sweet stall in Pontypridd Market which was ran by a family with the surname Gaze. I have been researching my family and have come across information that I may need more info.

Apparently according to my Grandfather the Gaze side of the family were jewish from Germany but only one family member that I have found has been born in Prussia:

Frank Gaze 1883-1919 (Brother to family down below)

Anyone that has information on the family that ran the sweet stall named Gaze please message me on here, also it doesn't have anything to do with the Atkins Sweet Factory that was in Berw Road that is my grandmothers side of the family.

I notice also that on the 1911 census, Charles GAZE speaks English, Welsh and German. Will have a look for his parents.

Yes I noticed that, his brother frank was born in Germany I thought that was the only connection but when I saw he spoke German I was confused

I am a little confused, there is the family of Thomas and Ellen GAZE, with children George, Charles, Ellen, Ann, Edith and John all born Pontypridd (except Thomas who was born Cradley, Staffordshire or Worcestershire).

Then it seems Thomas' son  John and Lydia GAZE who have children Frank, Dorothy and Clifford (in the 1911 census).

Frank GAZE born Germany c1883 is "brother" to someone in the family of Samuel PEARSON, presumably his wife Mary Ann, though she is born Pontypridd. (in the 1911 census)

Oh, I see now, in 1901 Frank (born c1883 Germany) is son to Thomas, the chainmaker.

Yeha that’s the confusing part, Pearson does show up in my family tree, from what I have been told frank was one of the children of Thomas gaze
