searching for passenger list

Hi everyone, it has been a while since I used Rootschat and I know I am on the wrong section and was wondering if you have a section to look up passenger lists from UK to Australia in 1957. I have all the relevant information but nothing comes up on Ancestry.

Have a look in the National Archives of Australia. name search.

OR look in the Archives for the individual state. eg. Qld State Archives, Victoria Archives . . .

You can also find this information on Find My Past.  I popped in Jones, 1957, Australia and had over 400 hits.

If you are happy to share the name of the person you are looking for I can have a look, although the person in question would need to be deceased.
