Adams family of Ellesborough (and elsewhere)

Still on the track of the elusive ancestors.

I am researching William Adams who married Hannah Jordan in 1758, and possibly Alice Cripps in 1746 in Ellesborough, Bucks.  On Ancestry another researcher, who I have contacted, no reply as yet, has a baptism for him in 1735 in Ellesborough but I have been unable to find it anywhere online.  Can anyone else do any better!

I am also trying to find a burial for Alice before 1758 to see whether Hannah is likely to be a second wife, at the moment I have no idea other than this unconfirmed baptism when William was born or died, I have found various possible burials at Ellesborough.

Any help appreciated.

Other children, William 1748, Martha 1751, John 1754, Edward 1757, all on family search.

If William was born 1735 it is unlikely he married Alice in 1746 plus Alice was still alive when the marriage below occurred.

The Buckinghamshire Marriage Index has a William Adams marrying Alice Crips 9 October 1746 and Hannah Jordan 2 October 1758.

The only death I can find in Ellesborough for an Alice Adams is in 1777.

Also there is a baptism for a William Adams, parents William and Alice in Ellesborough in 1760 which is 2 years after the marriage to Hannah Jordan so it is possible that there were two William Adams in Ellesborough at the same time.

Thanks both. I had not found the baptism for  William in 1760.  Looks as if there are indeed two William Adams producing children in Ellesborough at roughly the same time.
