1881 census Cornel and Helena are on their own still living in Wentworth Ontario now with 4 children.

Hellena/Helena dies 5 March 1890 Waterloo Ontario.

Just to clarify....Your original query was the whereabouts of Benjamin Williams c1840 Plymouth, prior to 1891.

See reply #6 Benjamin Howard cannot be your Benjamin Williams as he is in Canada in 1871 and dies there 1920. Your Ben Williams death is most likely the one found by CaroleW & burial by JenB, in 1911. He is still hiding prior to 1891.
