Northamptonshire Burial or Cremation?
« on: Saturday 21 October 23 16:30 BST (UK) »
Herbert Jones died on 24 Feb 1968, age as 75, at Creaton Hospital in Hollowell.

His usual address was given as High Street, Roade.

I am wondering what cemetery or crematorium would be the most likely for his final journey.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

Thank you!
 :)

Hi, Plimmerian,

Roade has its own cemetery
https://www.roadeparishcouncil.gov.uk/cemeteries2

And / or there’s the Counties Crematorium, on the south side of Northampton

Hope you find him!

Stage 1:

"I have checked our burial register and cemetery plan and we do not appear to have any record of Herbert Jones buried in our cemetery."

Stage 2:

waiting for a reply

I see from a tree on Ancestry which shows Herbert’s death certificate that his daughter lived in Roade.  Unfortunately she only gave her initials when registering her father’s death. Assuming that Herbert had been married where was his wife buried? Perhaps he was buried with her? Another thought where are his parents buried maybe he was buried with them? Or if the daughter has since died where is she buried?
