1702 Settlement Certificate

I have transcribed a settlement certificate but there are a few spots which have defeated me and I have attached them. 
The first one I think reads "his better livelihood, maintenance, and …..  of living to inhabit in your said parish of Stoke Abbas by your permission and leave; for the furtherance".  What is the missing word please?
The second one reads "Beaminster do promise for our … and ….: to you the said Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the parish of Stoke Abbas and your … = that if at".  Again could someone fill in the missing words please?
