Morse
« on: Sunday 22 October 23 09:28 BST (UK) »
Hi all, a Harry R Morse was born in Newport in April May June 1921. I’ve got nothing on him until a possibility in Lewisham in 1975 with a death and birth date. We in the family can’t find a marriage. Where had he been all those years ? Any help would be great, Phil.

Possible:

Ancestry have Electoral register entries for Harry Raymond and Anne Morse in Deptford - 1958 - 1963
Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

In the late 1940's early 1950's a Harry R Morse Electrol Registers in Southwark is living with an Annie Morse??  Bumblebee beat me to it

I also noticed an Annie Weedon b 1923 and living in Islington in 1939 whose surname is crossed out and replaced with Morse.  Can't see a marriage :-\

Thank you all for the help. Still no proof of a marriage though. Interesting that Islington is mentioned as one of Harry Morse seniors siblings Elizabeth Amy married a William Clement Collier who was born in Islington in 1883. Could there be a common denominator? Phil.

Just see that a John Morse married Ann Weedon in 1942. Confused, I am.
