Gifford 21 Janry 1827 Kirk Session Constitute and
members present
   Appeared Robt Paxton & Mary Baillie guilty of
antenuptial fornication. Mr Wilkie stated that
he had frequently spoken to them in private, &
was satisfied as to their appearance of contrition
Kirk ordered them to be rebuked & absolved from
the scandle which was accordingly done
