Try the Specialist Interest – Travelling People Board

Lock/Locke is a name used by some travellers and thought to be an off-shoot from the Boswell family. It is claimed, the name was because they were good at picking locks.

This is a lengthy thread, 51 pages. One member LockeRoots says: Admin of both the Locke DNA project and Y Haplogroup H project, there are other DNA projects that have Romani participants in them whom could benefit from donations so free upgrades can be done and free tests can be offered.

If you look through the board, there are many references to different Lock/Locke members.
Chipping Norton might be a new area for them to know about.
