Maggie or Margaret Shepherdson born 6 Mar 1899 Ontario
« on: Tuesday 24 October 23 14:08 BST (UK) »
The above was the daughter of William Shepherdson (1858-1947) and Mary Jane nee Hood (1865-1940); she married Albert Jones ( 1900-1952) 19 Dec 1931 Toronto. Albert was buried in Stouffville Cemetery but I can't find Maggie's death or burial there?
Her sister Minnie Shepherdson born 23 Mar 1897 married John William Simmons born 8 Jan 1897 on  2 Jan 1917 in Peterborough. Apparently they died in Ontario but don't know when or where. Her parents were buried at Green River Baptist Cemetery but there is no record of Minnie or John there?

Posslble?

This website has a record for a John W and a Minnie buried in Little Lake Cemetery in Peterborough. I put Minnie into the search section.

Brother Clifford's obit (ourontario site) says he died at the home of his sister, Mrs John Simmons, Peterboro.   Mrs Frank Pennock of Green River is also a sister.    Clifford is buried at Green River...he was 52.

Thank you all for your excellent research. However who is Thelma? Did John divorce Minnie?
Did you find out anything about Maggie?

I think Thelma might be the daughter-in-law of John W and Minnie?

This looks like the family in 1921, living in Toronto at the time. John here is a Machinist, same occupation as on his marriage. They have a 3 year old son John. The family is at the top.

The family is in Peterbotough in the 1931 census but don’t believe I can post details here. You can see the census on Ancestry.
