Hi im looking for William Middleton's parants please. birth 1813 Hatfield Woodhouse, Yorkshire. Died 1893 any informaion appreiated please

There is a baptism at Hatfield - 27 June 1813

William, son of William (Labourer) and Mary Middleton of Hatfield Woodhouse.

Possible marriage for William Junior at Hatfield - 26 October 1841

William Middleton, full age, bachelor, Farming man of Woodhouse.  Father - William, Labourer
Elizabeth Smith, full age, spinster of Woodhouse.  Father - Abraham Smith, Carpenter

On the same day, same church when  William Middleton Jr. married his sister Maria married Isaac Morris 26 October 1841.

Same Church, Hatfield his brother James married Elizabeth Garrett 27 April 1841 one of the witnesses was Isaac Morris (see above)

Is this the Hatfield Woodhouse near Doncaster?
If so the place is in the West Riding of Yorkshire. The recent fiddling with regional boundaries should not affect historical research.
That is why Rootschat divides Yorkshire into the Ridings and does use the modern divisions which seem to change every decade or so.
