Hello,I hope someone can help me,I am looking for information on my ancestor George Edward ordoyno born in Nottingham in 1872 to I believe allanby ordoyno 1825-1882 and Jane roper 1840-1932,I read but cannot confirm that George moved to Sacramento,California.Could anyone please confirm this for me and did he go on to get married and have children there,thank you for any help anyone can give me,kind regards Dean

document says he emigrated to US from Liverpool March 3rd 1888
H is living at Maitland West Virginia and is a miner.
Application 17 April 1920 and intending to sail from New York on 20 July  1920
Reason for the trip = to see his mother.
He became a naturalised citizen on March 12 1912 in Sacramento california

A death notice for Allanby ORDOYNO:

"On the 9th inst., at Birmingham, Allanby, youngest son of the late George Ordoyno, watchmaker, Bridlesmith-gate, aged 53 years."

Per the 1920 US census and the 1921 UK census he was still unmarried at age 48.

He died in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire in 1936. Admin to his sister Cecilia Alice Cowper.
