These are the only details, potential leads to go back any further:

I/John Kitchen 1679-1761 married Elizabeth Montgomry Furman 1695-1776
Joseph Frederick Kitchen 1710-1790 married Patience Bridges/Bridgers 1730/50/58-1810 or 1710-1792

These Nortth Carolina Kitchens seem to be an earlier branch that my half sisters, all down to a DNA match.
I would say that this family might be the first Kitchens to settle in North America.
