Marriage of Verdun Ruth Norris (nee Gardham) and John Charles Cox

I am trying to find the marriage between these two.

Verdun Ruth was born in 1916 in Ottawa and married for the first time to Peter Vincent Norris on 1 December 1941 in Winnepeg.   Peter was killed on 2 September 1942 in Oakham, Rutland, UK.  He is on the Bomber Command losses on Ancestry but I don't know the exact circumstances of how he died. 

She then re-marries but I have no idea when she married John Cox (1911 - 1979).  Verdun died in 1984 in Burnaby, BC. She does sometimes switch and call herself Ruth.

If anyone could find the marriage, I would be grateful.  I have not found any evidence of children from either marriage.

findagrave has a nice photo of Peter, and a couple of obituaries.   Not a lot of information about his death here.

The informant on Ruth/Verdun's death certificate is a niece, not a son or daughter

Probably won't help with your request, but you may not have it.   

Have you hunted up all family notices (B, M, D, anniversaries etc) that you can find?   Anything between 1942 and 1984 could be helpful - to see what surname Verdun is using.
