7th April at Sturry Mr. William Welsh, nearly 40 years schoolmaster at the above village aged 77 .

He was buried 12th April at Sturry- parish register on FindMyPast

So in 1841 he should be in Sturry.

Maybe the Sturry/Blean census is lost.  I can't find him on Ancestry at all.  I have not access to FindMyPast. Tks for much help.

I found only 7 pages for Sturry mostly ag lab. The preface page description did not cover the entire area.

His wife Sarah died in 1849 in Sturry.  Is there a mention of her in the gazette at all?  Thanks.

Not that I could see.

Her burial was 23 October 1849 age 75 of Sturry

Okay, please any help with finding the father and mother of William Hawkins Welsh who married on 9th April 1831 Boughton Under Blean to Ann Martha Stanton.
