Asylum

Hi, I had a great Uncle who died in the asylum and contacted the library who very kindly forwarded his notes that were filled out on his entry and the date of death. What i was wondering is I would imagine that photographs were taken of each person when admitted for info and in case someone 'wandered off'. Any ideas where those might have gone and any notes on their treatment as he was in there over 20 years before dying of TB in 1942. The library doesn't know where that info might have went.
