Hi Lisa
Well that looks closer than anything I've yet found :)
I've messaged the archives as I don't quite understand the code numbers particularly in column 7 -
'YB' = Year of Birth
'PB' = Place of Birth - Mary B Anderson has number 24
Hopefully they may be able to clarify :)
Fingers crossed!
I'm going to try any directories for that year too!
Thank you! :)
Deb

I’m sorry, I’m not sure which record you are referencing.  Perhaps we can figure out number 24 if you don’t hear back in a timely fashion?

A possibility for Julius to record his marital status as widowed in 1931 could be a possible separation between the couple.  I’ve run across and have read about others finding individuals who claim to be widowed, only to find the spouse very much alive, living somewhat nearby.

You are very welcome but I wish we could find more details for you.  :)

Hi Lisa,

I'm referencing the Mary Brown Anderson death in 1929 Glenreagh.

The archives replied explaining the number 24 for place of birth, is Scotland.

So this record you found is looking more + more likely it may be our Mary :)

I've asked how long a digital image of a death record takes to receive (hopefully straight away!) + think I may order it :)

You've been soooo helpful + if it is her you're an absolute star! :)

I didn’t see columns for Mary Brown Anderson, I guess I overlooked something.

Excellent!  Hopefully this Scottish Mary B. Anderson is the correct lady.

Hopefully, if you decide to order the death record, they will allow you to do so (as you may know, some Canadian records are difficult to obtain, for privacy reasons).

Mmmm, I can’t take credit if it turns out to be your Mary.  I was following eileenwilson’s efforts at looking at death records and if it wasn’t for Sandra mentioning the Browns, I wouldn’t have looked for Mary Brown again.  So, you’ll have to cut the star status into several pieces (one piece for you, too, for giving us details and feedback).   ;D

After reading the order instructions I've bit the bullet + ordered the record :)

Thank you for letting us know!  Hopefully, prior to her young passing, Mary had many good times mixed in with the sad events that have been uncovered.  How sad for everyone involved.
