Person with a matching tree but not a DNA match

Hi Need to get some ideas about this:

My Heritage has sent me a hint about person X and their tree as it very closely matches mine.   However this person is not on my DNA match list with that company. I would appreciate a bit of advice.

My thoughts are that he has not tested but has an account and this tree. I have messaged the person but have not received an answer.    I am thinking of building a tree around this person.

 Anyone any other ideas on where to start. please.

“Very closely matches”. Has this person copied info from your tree without researching?   A very large number of trees have incorrect info because people don’t research properly.

Thanks for reply....   
I don't know. the message was in Discoveries - by source so they were matching up my tree to this persons. 
 It's pretty accurate as far as I can see. 

since ther is not response i will have to do the usual  rebuild the tree and find where the link is.

Depending upon how close the MRCA is between you and your match it is very possible that you are related and yet share no DNA.

From the discoveries link I was able to see this tree again, with more information.   and unfortunately the person is related to one of my Grand Aunt's children so I am satisfied where the link is .

Hopes for a Massey connection lost again-sadly.
