21 IBD ?

Pte 5054 Deggory Holdcroft of the Royal Scots
His Attestation shows he Enlisted in Lichfield on 29 September 1916 aged 34 into 21 IBD then Transferred and became 270213 in the 15th Royal Scots
Is IBD for Infantry Base Depot? 
If so any idea where ?
Did he Enlist 5 th or 6th before ending in 15th Btn ?
Any advice appreciated.

He was briefly posted to 21 Infantry Base Depot at Etaples when he disembarked in France in June 1917. Then posted to 15 HLI for record purposes, then to 5/6 Royal Scots, then to 15 Royal Scots. All in the space of a couple of weeks.
